Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories - ESRB Rating Details |
[16 Nov 2008] |
Since July 1st, 2008, Entertainment Software Rating Board (aka ESRB) featured much more detailed content summaries in their website, instead of rather vague descriptions on the tiny box on the back of the game cover.
Here's what they have to say for Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories.
Rating summary: Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories is an action role-playing game (RPG) in which players explore different worlds, collect items and cards, and progress through levels by defeating various creatures (monkeys, jellyfish, flying hat mages, etc.) and boss characters. Players mostly use swords and magic to defeat enemies who sometimes groan then disappear into a mist of smoke when defeated. Players receive experience points and currency cards at the end of each battle. One cutscene depicts a clone who talks about his impending death as he slowly disintegrates.
Whether or not this means that certain scenes are censored or not, remains to be seen.
